Valuable Internship and Volunteer positions available!

NOW LOOKING FOR INTERNS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR, AND SUMMER PROGRAMS (JUNE-AUGUST)!

All Teens Act internships can fulfill credit for educational programs. Paid internship opportunities will be posted under JOBS when they are available. If you have any questions please contact either Gary Lacock 801-360-7135 or

Why become an Intern or Volunteer with Teens Act?
  1. Work to help under- resourced youth improve their high school experience and go onto higher education..
  2. Receive internship or school credit at a college or university.

Throughout the year Teens Act recruits a number of Interns and Volunteers to assist us in our work. We are looking to staff the following positions:
  • Program Coordinator: working to coordinate class time, after-school program and parent-family support mentors with students 
  • Family Support Specialist (need 1): providing support directly to student's family
  • Mentor - Tutor: working one-on-one with students in the schools
  • Teens Act Volunteer Coordinator UVU Intern-currently filled
  • Teens Act Volunteer Coordinator SLCC Intern
  • PR Specialist: managing social media and website 
  • Event Planning Specialist (need 1): planning monthly events for students and volunteers
  • Grant Writing Specialist (need 3): writing up and applying for grants 
  • Teens Act Editor Specialist Intern
